Diamanda La Berge Dramm – violin
During last year’s Dutch Classical Talent, violinist Diamanda La Berge Dramm blew the jury away with her effortless ability to switch from old to new, from solo performing to accompanying herself with bass pedals. She began playing the violin at age four – or more precisely, playing with the violin. In addition to Biber and Purcell, she’ll perform works created with Irishman Garth Knox: compositions containing every technique except conventional bowing. A many-facetted concert!
