Saskia Giorgini – piano

She may have a Dutch mother, but young pianist Saskia Giorgini is thoroughly Italian. Her talent became apparent at an early age and was further nurtured during her studies with Enrico Pace. In 2016, she was awarded the first prize at the celebrated Mozart Competition in Salzburg. ‘Infallible technique, a sound that’s as superb as it is moving, and imaginative phrasing,’ was how the jury appraised her playing. Enescu (selections from Pièces Impromptues) and Liszt (Vallée d’Obermann). Bring it on!
