Jip van den Toorn
Anoek Nuyens and Jip van den Toorn on art as a weapon against the climate crisis
We are honoured to welcome cartoonist and illustrator Jip van der Toorn as our festival thinker. Her work has been featured in the Volkskrant, Parool, Vrij Nederland and the VPRO Guide. Her book 'Crisis' was published by publisher Podium at the end of 2022. Jip can currently be seen on TV as a contestant on the current season of Wie is de Mol. During Wonderfeel 2024, she will fill a slot each day with her view of the world.
Anoek Nuyens studied theatre, film and television studies in Utrecht, Berlin and Brussels. Together with Rebekka de Wit, she wrote and produced the acclaimed show De zaak Shell (The Shell Case). For De Correspondent, she wrote a.o. the series Staatsgeheimen (State Secrets), which was nominated for De Loep.
