SECRETS OF THE GNAWA Hind Ennaira dominates today’s Gnawa music scene, an ancient music tradition of Black African slaves in Morocco. Through her guembri playing, she proves to the world that this traditional music also belongs to women. She created her own band and flourished into one of the maâlems who sell out halls. Originally, Gnawa music was closely related to the Sufi tradition, and Hind radically pulls it toward the modern age with African, Berber, and Arabian influences – with hints of rock and jazz, too.

What do the different stages entail?
At Wonderfeel we have the following stages: Het Veld, Het Weiland, De Bosplek, SOLO, De Schuur, Dichter onder de Boom, Het Dorp and Sound Bath. There are also some extra activities. You can find an overview of all stages here.
Is there kids’ programming?
Yes, on every festival day there is a program for kids, check out our Kids page for more information. And: entrance is free for children and youth up to 18 years! They do need an entrance ticket, which you can order through the ticketshop.
