BRAHMS’ STRING SEXTET Put together three musical brothers who have been playing together since early childhood, and what do you get? Add violist Veit Hertenstein to the Schumanns and you get one of the most exciting, communicative and broad-minded string quartets of today. Add another two top-tier players to that, and we’re ready for Brahms’ passionate String sextet, Op. 18. It’s the second movement Andante, ma moderato which became especially famous, even appearing in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

What do the different stages entail?
At Wonderfeel we have the following stages: Het Veld, Het Weiland, De Bosplek, SOLO, De Schuur, Dichter onder de Boom, Het Dorp and Sound Bath. There are also some extra activities. You can find an overview of all stages here.
Is there kids’ programming?
Yes, on every festival day there is a program for kids, check out our Kids page for more information. And: entrance is free for children and youth up to 18 years! They do need an entrance ticket, which you can order through the ticketshop.
