FEST.
In The Netherlands, admittedly, the words ‘town fest’ immediately evoke the image of a fair with sausage and beer, but it’s not always like that. In countries all over the world, dance and music facilitate connection between human beings of all ages and world views, and all emotions have a place. So how about a town fest at Wonderfeel with ensemble Ikarai, Sterre Konijn, and Bulgarian percussionist Kalina Vladovka? The mosst beautiful folk music from Bulgaria and Romania, but also from Georgia and Cyprus, as well as a brand new piece by Camiel Jansen, set to tekst by Thomas Heerma van Voss. Come along and feel anything and everything you need to feel, to music!
Sterre Konijn - voice & duduk
Kalina Vladovska - percussion & davul
IKARAI
Tessel Hersbach - violin
Yanna Pelser - viola
Bence Huszar - cello
Jeroen Batterink - drums
Camiel Jansen – double bass, composition & arrangements
